Diamond Temporary Tattoo
Only one diamond tattoo may exist at a time.
Diamonds are not as valuable as most people consider them. The De Beers corporation, who controlled nearly 90% of the world's rough diamond supply for most of the 20th century., made sure that you never knew this. That dominance only became possible after enormous diamond deposits were discovered in South Africa in the late 1800s, transforming diamonds from a relatively rare gemstone into something that could be mined on an industrial scale. Normally, a surge in supply drives prices down. De Beers prevented that. By consolidating ownership of mines and stockpiling vast quantities of diamonds in vaults, the corporation controlled how many stones reached the market, preserving the illusion of scarcity and keeping prices high. In 1947, De Beers launched arguably the most successful advertising campaign in history with the slogan, "A Diamond Is Forever." The campaign permanently linked diamonds with love, marriage, and status. Entire generations were convinced that an engagement ring wasn't complete without one. This is not just a conspiracy either, as in 2004, De Beers pleaded guilty to price-fixing in the U.S. and paid a $10 million criminal fine, along with hundreds of millions in other settlements.
Only one tattoo can exist on a person at any given time. Because each tattoo fades over time, just one new tattoo will be released every five days, never more.
This tattoo lasts 4-5 days.
